Part Qualified Rural Accountant


Are you a Part Qualified Accountant with a passion for the rural and agricultural sector? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team, working closely with our Rural Advisers and clients to provide high-quality accountancy services.

As a Part Qualified Rural Accountant at Old Mill, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for our rural and agricultural clients. You will work closely with our Rural Advisers to ensure that our clients receive the best possible financial advice and support.

Through your work, you will gain valuable experience in the rural sector and have the opportunity to grow your knowledge and skills in agricultural accounting practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should be a Part Qualified Accountant (level 3 AAT or above) with experience or a strong interest in the rural and agricultural sector. You should have a good understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as knowledge of relevant tax regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be working with complex financial data and providing tailored advice to our clients. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently is also important.

Excellent communication skills are key, as you will be working closely with clients and colleagues. You should be a team player, able to collaborate effectively and contribute to the success of the team.

Additional Information

Thanks to our commitment to flexible working, in this role you will have the opportunity to work at least partially from your home office. For this role, we would expect this to be a minimum of 2 days in the office. This would follow an initial three-month period of full-time office presence.
